Booking & Payment
13Choose a location, date, and rental duration on our website. You'll get a confirmation with your PIN code by email instantly. The whole booking takes about 60 seconds.
We accept credit and debit cards (Visa, Mastercard, Maestro), Apple Pay, and Google Pay. Payment is processed securely via Stripe. Payment on site is not possible.
No. Payment is exclusively online during the booking process. You only receive the PIN code to open the locker after successful payment.
Yes. You can book up to a few minutes before your rental starts, as long as a SUP is available. Each location has 2 SUPs — during peak season they're often booked out at busy times. If you can book early, do.
2 hours. Longer rentals are possible in 1-hour increments (3, 4, 5 hours…) up to a full day.
€10 per hour (2-hour minimum). The full-day price is €60. Paddle and life vest are always included.
For longer rentals, please contact us directly at info@clickandpaddle.at. We don't usually rent SUPs for a full week — but we almost always find a suitable solution. If you paddle regularly, our season passes are often the better option.
Yes. With our season passes you paddle at a lower rate and can use them at all three lakes. We don't offer direct bulk discounts — but booking multiple hours at once benefits from the pass logic.
Yes. You can cancel up to 1 hour before your rental starts and get 90% refunded. The cancellation link is right in your confirmation email (button "Revoke rental"). The refund goes back to the same payment method automatically.
Check your spam folder first. If it's not there either: you can correct your email address directly on the confirmation page after booking (e.g. if there was a typo). If that doesn't work either, drop us a line at info@clickandpaddle.at — we'll resend the confirmation.
Right after successful payment — usually within 1–2 minutes by email. If nothing arrives: check your spam folder, otherwise drop us a quick email at info@clickandpaddle.at.
After your booking, you’ll automatically receive a payment confirmation by email — which is sufficient in most cases. If you need a formal invoice (e.g. for a company), email us at info@clickandpaddle.at, ideally before booking with the required invoice details.
Yes. You can buy vouchers for any amount online. They're valid for two years and redeemable at all three lakes.
On Site
8Enter the code you received by email on the lock of the locker.
First check the date and time of your booking — the code is only valid during your rental period. If everything matches and the code still doesn't work, call us at +43 670 350 0425 (WhatsApp and SMS also work) or write to info@clickandpaddle.at.
Send a quick message to info@clickandpaddle.at — we'll resend your code.
You can lock up anything you don't want to take on the water. We don't take liability for lost or damaged items.
You can extend your rental directly: there's a button "Extend rental" in your confirmation email. This keeps your code valid and avoids problems during return.
Bring the SUP back to the box, disassemble it (3 pieces), put the paddle and life vest back, and close the box. In your confirmation email there's a button to upload a return photo — please do this, it protects both you and us in case of damage questions.
In that case you'll be notified by email and can hand over the assembled SUP directly to the next renter — saving time for both of you. If there's no next renter, put the equipment back in the box.
No, Click&Paddle is a fully automated self-service station. Instructions are on the locker and in your confirmation email. If you have problems, we're reachable by phone and email.
The SUP
9No. Our SUPs are extra stable thanks to a lowered standing area and suitable even for beginners. Being able to swim is a prerequisite. Tip: start kneeling and only stand up when you feel confident. A quiet bay in the early morning or evening is ideal for your first try.
Up to 95 kg per paddler. The SUP is designed for one person.
Yes, if a few conditions are met: the child should be mature enough to sit calmly, be a good swimmer, and wear their own fitting life vest (ours are adult-sized). Important: the combined weight of you and your child must not exceed 95 kg.
No, our SUPs are designed for one person. If you want to paddle together, rent two SUPs — each location has 2 available.
Snap three pieces together, done. Takes less than three minutes. It's explained in the confirmation email.
No. Our SUPs are not inflatable — they're made of solid material and snap together from 3 pieces.
Return the SUP anyway and let us know what happened. Normal wear (small scratches) is free of charge. For serious damage or lost parts, we charge repair costs — details are in the terms.
Recyclable polyethylene, no PVC. More durable than inflatable SUPs and the better choice from a sustainability perspective.
The SUP has two waterproof storage compartments with lids. We recommend only taking what you truly need — you'll need your phone to open the locker on return. Keep the lids closed during your ride.
Weather & Safety
5In case of sudden thunderstorm or strong wind: bring the SUP to shore, ideally back to the box. Safety comes before rental time. In bad weather (or for any other reason) you can cancel up to 1 hour before your rental starts and get 90% refunded.
Not legally required everywhere for adults, but we strongly recommend them. A vest is included for every paddler in the locker. Children must wear their own fitting life vest.
Up to about 3 Beaufort (12–19 km/h) is manageable for most paddlers. From 4 Beaufort it gets strenuous, from 5 Beaufort we advise beginners against paddling. Check current forecasts on windy.com.
SUP is generally allowed on all three lakes. Keep distance from swimming areas, protected zones, and larger boats. Route suggestions are on our routes page.
Water temperature in peak season: 20-25°C. May and September are cooler. Current values are shown at the top of our homepage.
Other
9The season starts in May. We're open daily from sunrise to sunset. Exact daily booking times are shown in the booking calendar for each location. Season usually ends around late September, depending on weather.
Yes: +43 670 3019464. You can also reach us via WhatsApp and SMS — during the season we usually reply immediately.
Every location has parking nearby (50–400 m). Details on each location page. In midsummer at Wörthersee and Faaker See, allow extra time for finding a spot.
All three locations have public changing rooms nearby. Details on the location page.
On the SUP in principle yes, but most lake access points have a no-dogs rule. Only at Wörthersee is it therefore possible to take a dog on the SUP.
Not currently. Click&Paddle is designed for self-service. For guided tours we recommend local providers — some of which we link on our routes page.
